I began by presenting a drawing of the various elements. Each finely detailed and done to scale.

On the left is a drawing of how the actual wall would appear with all the pipes, portholes and valves. The portholes are left empty but drawings of the vistas through each window are presented. The drawing of the fish and kelp on the right is one example.

My clients wanted to create a space that expresses their energy with diverse cultural and artistic interests. The apartment consisted of 2 bedrooms on Avenue Wagram, a large reception area, a dining area and a large kitchen. The two bedrooms were joined by a long corridor and all of the apartment was treated as an art space.

They asked me to create a faux submarine corridor complete with portholes which looked out onto various themes that they requested.

Tables were made from coloured volcanic glass, furniture designed for their particular needs, collections of paintings from contemporary artists. The space was changed to receive a large number of guests.
